The department of economics is one of the major departments of Sidharth Government Degree College Nadaun. This department came into existence with the establishment of this institution in 1995. The department is successfully and effectively providing quality education to the UG students who opted economics subject as a major or minor. It is providing education not only for BA students but also for B.Com students in the field of Business Environment etc. Presently there are two faculty members working in the department who committed to provide effective education to 27 students of BA 2nd Semester, 16 students of BA 4th semester, 38 students of BA 6th semester and 138 students of B.Com 6th semester.
